
With more than twenty years of experience in the performing arts, Kayce Clark serves as the Artistic Director of Footlight Players, bringing a bold creative vision, dynamic leadership, and a deep passion for storytelling to every production she leads. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Louisiana Christian University and began Master of Fine Arts studies at Louisiana State University before relocating for her husband’s career. In addition to her theatrical background, she also earned a Juris Doctor degree.Kayce has performed in productions across the country in both professional and community theatre, including appearing as a guest artist in Broadway’s Chicago. With credits in more than 100 productions, her experience spans musicals, dramas, comedies, immersive events, and specialty entertainment productions. As a director, she has helmed more than 40 productions and is known for creating visually compelling, emotionally engaging theatre that blends strong storytelling with memorable audience experiences.Her background includes extensive work in performance, directing, actor coaching, audition preparation, event entertainment, and arts education. She has taught theatre in both public and private schools and has mentored performers ranging from first-time actors to seasoned performers refining their craft. In addition to her artistic work, Kayce has served on the boards of four theatre organizations, helping shape programming, outreach, and artistic development within the theatre community.Through Footlight Players, Kayce continues to champion theatre that is imaginative, ambitious, entertaining, and deeply rooted in connection — creating productions and experiences designed not only to entertain audiences, but to bring people together through the shared magic of live performance.

Sasha Dovzak
A lifelong performer and seasoned creative, Sasha joins Footlight Players as Movement Director and brings her vast expertise in choreography and physical expression. She has built a reputation throughout Houston for her inventive work, mentoring artists across a multitude of local stages. In addition to her role here, Sasha produces the Romani Roses dance troupe, appearing at renowned venues like the Texas Renaissance Festival. Her artistic philosophy focuses on character-driven motion, ensuring every actor feels empowered and expressive while performing. With extensive experience directing for the University of Houston and teaching through CYT, she pairs professional technicality with incredible passion. Sasha’s own stage career is marked by standout roles in productions such as Into the Woods, Bonnie and Clyde, and Steel Magnolias. By emphasizing emotional grounding in every sequence, she helps our cast discover authentic connection and confidence through the language of dance. Her work ensures that every production resonates with visual harmony and deep narrative purpose.

Isaac Kelley
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Isaac is a versatile performer who loves bringing laughter, energy and unforgettable characters to the stage. Whether he's performing in high energy musical, diving into fast-paced improv scenes, or creating memorable moments with the audience, he loves the magic that live theatre provides. Most recently Isaac could be seen along side several of his Troupemates as he played the role of Danny in Grease.
Offstage, Isaac brings his vast experience to his work as the Footlight Technical Director as well as the Improv Director; helping support the Troupe both onstage and behind the scenes. His passion for performance, his leadership and his heart for others, make him a cornerstone of the Footlight Troupe.
As the Music Director for Footlight Players, Jadon Campos brings extensive experience in vocal performance, choral leadership, and music education. The Pearland native holds degrees in both Music Education and Vocal Performance from the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston. Jadon has performed with numerous locations including The Houston Grand Opera, Houston Chamber Choir, Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Houston and Houston Broadway Theatre. His performance credits span opera, operetta, and musical theatre with roles in Beauty and the Beast, Silent Night, Into The Woods, She Loves Me, Ragtime and Little Shop of Horrors. In addition to his performance work, Jadon has served as a private voice teacher, choral member at St. Luke's Presbyterian Church and Christ Church Cathedral and section leader, staff singer, music director, orchestra director, and artistic director. He is a founding member and previous President and Artistic Director of the Musical Theatre Organization at the University of Houston.

Born and raised in Toronto and now based in Houston, Julia Zwicker is an award-winning vocalist, performer, and music educator whose career reflects a unique blend of Canadian and American artistic training. A distinguished vocal scholar from Lone Star College–CyFair where she earned multiple competition wins through the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Julia's performance experience spans musical theatre, concert work, live entertainment, and film, with leading and featured roles in Grease, Into the Woods, and A Christmas Carol. In addition to her vocal background, Julia trained as a French horn player in both the symphonic orchestra program at York University and Symphony North of Houston. Expanding beyond the stage, Julia has professional film and media experience.
By combining her international artistic background with a passion for performance and education, Julia is committed to empowering the next generation of performers through artistry, discipline, and authentic creative expression.
