Footlight Players was created from one simple idea: what if theatre didn’t have to live inside one building? What if live performances could happen anywhere?

That is what Footlight Players is all about.

Inspired by the spirit of vaudeville and classic live entertainment, Footlight Players is a professional theatrical troupe bringing fast-paced, personality-driven performances directly into the community through immersive events that feel lively, intimate, and completely unlike a traditional night at the theatre.

Some experiences may feel like stepping into a vintage supper club. Others may feel like an old-fashioned variety show, an interactive mystery, a cabaret, a holiday celebration, or a themed event where live theatre unfolds all around the audience. No two Footlight experiences are exactly alike — and that is part of the magic. The productions are intentionally smaller, more personal, and more interactive than traditional stage productions, allowing audiences to experience the energy, spontaneity, and connection that only live entertainment can create up close.

Because Footlight Players works as an ongoing troupe of performers collaborating across all productions and events, the entertainment carries a unique chemistry, rhythm, and personality that audiences can feel from the moment the performance begins. Rather than building one season inside a permanent theatre,  Footlight Players believes theatre can happen anywhere — around dinner tables, beneath string lights, inside beautifully decorated ballrooms, at community celebrations, and in spaces where audiences least expect to discover a little Broadway magic.
